I am definitely going to look for flats for rent with my friend. I told my parents that I will be moving out soon, and they are quite happy for me. 9/11 Remembrance Events

As the ten year anniversary of 9/11 approaches many events are planned in the city and throughout the nation to remember those who were lost. The concert is free with admission into The Met. Taking place in at the Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing, The Wordless Music Orchestra will perform several pieces in memory of 9/11.

  • Irondale Community 9-11 Memorial Concert | Irondale Arts Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

This free remembrance concert will feature the String Orchestra of Brooklyn, Noel Pointer Foundation, Spoke The Hub, and pianist Anton Batagov.

  • Remembering 9-11 | International Center of Photography in Time Square

This exhibit will take a look back at the tragedy ten years ago and its aftermath through visual media including photographs from several artists. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Children under 12 are free.
